Important: Sizing!

Our current inventory of Shorty's run about a half size big (11's fit like 11.5). These boots are meant to fit a little loose by design so they are easy to slip on/off.

Waterproof Ankle Boots Built for Wet Weather

Rain, wet grass, and shallow water are no match for these short boots. The one-piece molded build keeps water out with no glued seams to leak. You get reliable protection on a rainy day, during a wet morning hunt, or while you slog through mud. These waterproof materials hold up to unpredictable weather, and your feet stay dry.

Lightweight Comfort for Long Days

At about 10 ounces per boot, these ankle boots weigh half what many waterproof boots do. That lighter feel cuts fatigue when you walk fields, work the yard, or stand in wet conditions for hours. The soft footbed and quality materials add all day comfort, so you keep moving.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these really waterproof ankle boots?

Yes. The Shortys are 100% waterproof. They are molded in one piece with no seams to leak, so water stays out in rain, mud, and shallow water.

How do these compare to rain boots?

Most rain boots are heavy and stiff. The Shortys give you the same waterproof protection at about half the weight. They make a comfortable pick for a rainy day or wet yard work.

Will my feet stay warm in winter?

They should. The built-in insulation holds heat well for cold weather. For deep snow or very low temps, pair them with a thicker sock. The same boot still wears fine on warmer days.

Do Lite Boots make a tall boot too?

Yes. If you want more coverage, our 16" Classic is a tall waterproof boot built on the same idea. The Shortys are the ankle height version.

How should I care for them?

Keep them out of direct sunlight for long stretches, like the bed of a truck or a closed car. High heat can make the waterproof rubber shrink. Rinse off mud with water and air dry.

Do men and women both wear the Shortys?

Yes. They work as men's rain boots and women's rain boots alike. Plenty of men and women wear them for hunting, chores, and yard work.
