Important: Sizing!
Our current inventory of Shorty's run about a half size big (11's fit like 11.5). These boots are meant to fit a little loose by design so they are easy to slip on/off.
Waterproof Ankle Boots Built for Wet Weather
Rain, wet grass, and shallow water are no match for these short boots. The one-piece molded build keeps water out with no glued seams to leak. You get reliable protection on a rainy day, during a wet morning hunt, or while you slog through mud. These waterproof materials hold up to unpredictable weather, and your feet stay dry.
Lightweight Comfort for Long Days
At about 10 ounces per boot, these ankle boots weigh half what many waterproof boots do. That lighter feel cuts fatigue when you walk fields, work the yard, or stand in wet conditions for hours. The soft footbed and quality materials add all day comfort, so you keep moving.
Made for Hunting, Fishing, and Farm Work
Lite Boots started in the hunting market, and the Shortys carry that same practical build. Hunters and anglers like the light weight for long days outside. Farmers and ranchers like how fast they slip on for chores. Gardeners and homeowners reach for them in the rain and mud. One waterproof boot replaces a closet full of shoes and heavier footwear.
Easy On, Easy Off
A good boot should not be a wrestling match. The Shortys have a hole on the back to help you pull them on, and they slide off fast too. The footbed is built right into the boot, so comfortable footing is ready each time. No laces, no fuss. That makes them a go-to for quick chores.
Rugged Outsole for Muddy Conditions
The rubber outsole grips wet and muddy ground for steady footing. It handles slick grass, gravel, and soft trails without slipping out from under you. Made from premium materials, the molded waterproof rubber gives you a perfect balance of light weight and durability. The hard wearing tread keeps you sure-footed in wet conditions that stop other footwear.
One Boot for Cold and Warm Weather
The Shortys are fully insulated with a temperature rating of 10 to 80 degrees F. That range covers chilly winter mornings and warmer days in the field. The insulation comes from tiny air pockets in the material, not a bulky liner. For deep snow, add a thicker sock. These wear far lighter than many snow boots.
They are comfy and lite. What more could you ask for

Review of newly purchased Shortys
They are the right size but my feet slide around in the making my big toe rub on the side and top of the boot. Can't wear them to work in, just to slip on to run out and get the mail, etc. Disappointed

Damn sure the lightest boots I’ve purchased!
I like them! However I did have to put some orthotics in them. On in even terrain they seemed to roll pretty easy, which made for uncomfortable walking in a dove field.

Great lite weight, easy to put on and take off and keep my feet dry

Lite and comfortable
These are really good boots to work around the yard or whatever. A little on the hot side , but I like that they are easy to put on
Yes. The Shortys are 100% waterproof. They are molded in one piece with no seams to leak, so water stays out in rain, mud, and shallow water.
How do these compare to rain boots?
Most rain boots are heavy and stiff. The Shortys give you the same waterproof protection at about half the weight. They make a comfortable pick for a rainy day or wet yard work.
Will my feet stay warm in winter?
They should. The built-in insulation holds heat well for cold weather. For deep snow or very low temps, pair them with a thicker sock. The same boot still wears fine on warmer days.
Do Lite Boots make a tall boot too?
Yes. If you want more coverage, our 16" Classic is a tall waterproof boot built on the same idea. The Shortys are the ankle height version.
How should I care for them?
Keep them out of direct sunlight for long stretches, like the bed of a truck or a closed car. High heat can make the waterproof rubber shrink. Rinse off mud with water and air dry.
